Little Victories in the Community CIC, in partnership with Vision Through Action CIC, is proud to announce Vision Through Victories, a dedicated day of adapted sports designed to be accessible to all, with a focus on supporting individuals with visual impairments.

Taking place later this year, the event will offer opportunities for both juniors and adults to take part in three key adapted sports, football, cricket, and tennis.
By providing an inclusive and welcoming environment, Vision Through Victories aims to demonstrate that vision loss should never be a barrier to participation in sport.
This initiative is not just about a one-day experience, it’s about building momentum. The event will serve as a catalyst for increasing awareness, participation, and long-term opportunities for people with visual impairments to engage in sport.
By showcasing adapted versions of popular sports, we hope to inspire individuals, clubs, and governing bodies to invest in accessible sporting pathways.
"Sport has the power to transform lives, and we want to ensure that those with visual impairments have equal access to play, compete, and be part of a thriving sports community," said Sarah Cook, Volunteer Director at Little Victories in the Community CIC. "We see this event as the start of something bigger, a stepping stone towards greater inclusion and long-term participation in sports for visually impaired people."
Roy Turnham, Director at Vision Through Action CIC, shared: "There are many reasons why people living with sight loss find it difficult to access sport. This is a great opportunity to reach out to a wider community, boosting awareness of how sport can indeed be thoroughly enjoyed by anyone, no matter their age, ability, or level of vision.
Often, we find that people’s expectations of what someone with a vision impairment can do in a sport and a fitness setting is far below what is actually possible. We want to change this. Little Victories and ourselves may have different backgrounds, but our vision is shared. Working together is a fantastic opportunity to reach out to a much wider community.”
Little Victories in the Community CIC and Vision Through Action CIC are calling on local organisations, sports providers, and individuals to get involved, whether as participants, volunteers, or supporters.
