On Monday, 14th April, Little Victories FC were invited for what appeared to be a casual tour of Hull City FC's stadium. But behind the scenes, it was a secret mission with a bigger purpose, to celebrate physiotherapist Victoria Brattan, who was set to receive the Hull City and KCOM Community Eero award.
Victoria, known for her years of dedication delivering physiotherapy to children within the NHS and now through her own private practice, had no idea what was planned.
The day kicked off with a walk through the Wall of Fame and a behind-the-scenes look at the changing rooms. All the players enjoyed exploring the stadium, soaking up the atmosphere, and taking in what it’s like behind the scenes of a professional club. Spirits were high throughout but the real moment was still to come.

As the group made their way down the tunnel and onto the pitch, two of Victoria’s young patients were waiting, ready to present her with the award. She was stunned. Shocked and emotional, Victoria burst into laughter and called everyone “snakes” for keeping the plan so well hidden.

It was a powerful moment, recognising someone who’s spent her career helping others recover, move, and thrive.
All our players had a fantastic time visiting Hull City Football Club and exploring the famous MKM Stadium. It was a truly memorable experience to see a real-life professional football environment. Every child was beaming with joy, with smiles all around as they enjoyed a day they’ll never forget!

Huge thanks to the staff at Hull City FC for making this all possible and giving LVFC the chance to share in such a memorable day. It was a fantastic experience for everyone involved and a moment Victoria will never forget.
